What we offer:

  • Custom preservation enclosures: custom boxes, folio bindings, protective sleeves

  • Documentation and photography only: helpful for those preparing to loan an item to another collection, or for insurance purposes

  • Examination and treatment proposals only: helpful for those seeking grants

  • Collections survey assessments

  • Small-scale digitization

  • Framing and mounting

  • Staff training: handling fragile/rare materials, detecting potential infestations, quarantine procedures for infested materials

  • Speaking engagements: subjects relating to conservation, preservation, and the history of books and paper for classes, institutional meetings, community events, and more

Consultation for large projects:

If you’re facing a big project, we’d love to help. We can provide consultation on situations like relocating collections, preparing collections for building renovation work, collections disaster response, and more. Get in touch so we can discuss the scope of your project.
